Communication Technologies – Devin Gillespie and Ali Carvalho

Communication technologies allow users to participate in a rapidly changing world in which work and other activities are increasingly transformed by access to varied and developing technologies. Some examples of communication technologies would be Twitter, Face Book, Skype, and other programs like that. So far, I've only used Face Book and Twitter in something relevant to a workplace. We've used Twitter in order to communicate with one another whether it's related a project and we are working together or connecting with other people and seeing what they are doing. Competition goes everywhere and using communication technologies, you can figure out really valuable information. When a company uses Twitter, Face Book, or something to that affect, they can communicate with their customers directly incase their customers are having trouble with their product or are not happy for whatever reason. Even if they don't contact the customer, they can see what kind of feedback people are posting about their company and try to improve that. To me, Twitter is a good one because you can post about any subject, objects, anything and it's not complicated at all. Once you make a Twitter account, you can pretty much teach yourself on how to do it, what it works for, or anything.
