Bad Site compared to a Good Site

Here is the link to a very bad website (BEWARE a lot of colors moving). This site has a lot of colors blinking and moving on the home page. It gives you a headache after a while (picture is below). Another reason is when a person clicks off into the links on this site, all the links have different backgrounds. For a religious site, I don't know how a rainbow on the home page has anything to do with what they are showing to there views. On this site, nothing really interesting is on the home page that makes people become interested in its content.

A good site would be MSN, it has information placed in good spots and it attracts the viewer. It also has a good color pattern and is constant on most pages.

Not a Great Site
When it comes to making a website, you want to make sure that it has a good layout. You don't want to have too much blank space but you also don't want to have to cluttered. In the link above, the website never fully loads, there is a ton of white space, they don't really tell you what they are about and so on. You don't want to have a bunch of errors on your site as well.


The Perfect Site
This is a perfect example of a great designed website. It is appealing to the eye, they explain what they are about, and they show the purpose of their website and products. You want to make sure that you capture everything you want the people to know and see about you in your website.

A Poorly Designed Site
The website above is a perfect example of a poorly designed website. First of all, everything is everywhere! There is a million pictures squeezed together and it looks like a game of Where's Waldo. The links are all over the place, and in all honestly you you cant even tell what the website is about.

A Great Designed Site
On an other note this website is a great example of how all websites should look like. This website has a great use of flash player and is also very easy to navigate around. Everything is neat and organized and shows no confusion what so ever.

The good, The bad,and the ugly websites

A Poorly made website: http://msy.com.au/ <-- MSY is a company in computer design for ten years and they still made a poorly made website I just don't like how everything is placed randomly. But mainly they tried and failed miserably. They don't know about word press or dream weaver wow they much have a lot of time on they're hands sarcastically said. MSY company aren't the best at making sites because they just bend things in random place and some parts of the site isn't even completed and they pass that as a site. Really a monkey can make a better website

A Greatly made website: code.flickr.com/blog/ <-- A web site that was made from word press and it has a great design and its simple. Which simple can be better than an over excessive glossy design. Basically you see this site and say "wow they kept it simple and good." Which is better than that other site.
